College Graduate, Military & First Responder Programs

We should all be rewarded for our good deeds, and Volkswagen makes sure that the hard work and dedication from some of the most heroic members of our society does not go unnoticed. That’s why if you’re a member of the U.S. military, a current first responder, or even a recent college graduate, VW has a special benefit for you. These programs supply an extra “thank you” to those dedicated individuals who choose to buy or lease a new VW.

College Grad Program

You’ve finally done it. All those late nights and tiresome days have paid off, and you’re going on to bigger and better things with your college degree in hand. To recognize this hard work and dedication – and to give you a little financial break as you get started in your professional life – VW is offering a $500 contract bonus on certain new Volkswagen models for qualified recent graduates who’ve secured full-time employment. In addition to the contract bonus, competitive lease rates are available for those who have yet to establish credit. Any applicants who have established credit already, though, must be in good standing with a clean history.

To take advantage of this program, you’ll need to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who has graduated within the last 24 months from a U.S. or Canadian college or university. You’ll be required to show the following: a copy of your degree or transcript, contact information from your university, a copy of proof of income and full-time permanent employment, a name and phone number for a contact in human resources or payroll, and contact information for two personal references (one must be a relative). This program will run through January 3, 2024.

Military & First Responder Program

Volkswagen is also offering a $500 bonus for qualified military and first-responder personnel who lease or purchase select brand-new VWs. The automaker does not want the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of these professionals to go unnoticed. For those currently operating overseas, these incentives still apply, and VW will have either the vehicle shipped to your location abroad or have it waiting for you when you return home.

To qualify, persons must either be active duty, a veteran with at least 24 months of service, or a retiree from the Active Reserve, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, or Navy. First responders – including police officers, federal law enforcement personnel, firefighters (career or volunteer), EMTs/paramedics, 911 dispatch operators, sheriffs/deputies, correctional officers, and state troopers – must be employed at the time of application in a listed first responder position. Applicants must also show proof of their eligibility at the time of purchase. This program also runs through January 3, 2024.
