New Volkswagen 2019 Atlas Trims for Sale in West Warwick, RI
The Volkswagen Atlas made a splash for the 2018 model year when it debuted as the largest Volkswagen ever offered in the United States. For its sophomore showing, the 2019 Atlas now comes standard with additional active safety technology: rear traffic alert, a blind spot monitor, and front assist. With seating for up to seven (the third row seats two adults and the second row is available as a three-person bench seat or a pair of captain’s chairs), it offers exceptional interior space and class-leading third-row legroom. All trims get the fully transferable People First Warranty, which provides bumper-to-bumper New Vehicle Limited coverage for six years/72,000 miles.
Trim Levels: The Base S
The standard equipment on the first 2019 Atlas trim is anything but basic. It comes with heated side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, fuel-saving start-stop technology, great active safety features (forward collision warning, a rear-view camera, and pedestrian monitoring), and technology features, including a touchscreen sound system with USB port and Bluetooth capability. Passengers stay comfortable with dual-zone climate control, complete with third-row ducts. The engine in the S is a turbo-charged inline four-cylinder that makes 235 horsepower. The next trim up, the V6 S with 4MOTION ups its game with two more cylinders, 41 more horses, and all-wheel drive.
The SE Trims
There are several versions of the SE trim, each with a different bundle of upgrades. The V6 SE adds another zone (for the third row) to the automatic climate control, three more USB ports, and a larger infotainment touchscreen; the V6 SE with 4MOTION adds AWD. The V6 SE with Technology increases the convenience and safety factors with adaptive cruise control, remote start, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. There’s also a V6 SE with Tech and 4MOTION.
Those who are into appearance will appreciate the V6 SE with Technology R-Line and its counterpart with 4MOTION added. These two add R-Line-specific badging, bumpers, and interior elements.
The SEL Trims
The amenities continue to rise with the V6 SEL, which receives integrated navigation, park distance control, and a panoramic sunroof. Those who want the most confidence on the road, especially in questionable weather, can opt for the V6 SEL with 4MOTION. There are also R-Line versions of these two trims, with their specific appearance differences inside and out.
The Top of the Heap: the V6 SEL Premium with 4MOTION
This is the ultimate Atlas, the only one that gets the overhead view camera, heated leather seats for the first and second rows, and the VW Digital Cockpit. This high-resolution, state-of-the-art digital instrument cluster lets you decide which information to display between the tachometer on the left and the speedometer on the right. You can choose to show fuel economy, driving range, compass, navigation directions, and more, and then change the display as needed. This well-appointed trim also gets a premium Fender audio system with twelve speakers.
